Great experience overall

Great experience overall! Strongly recommended for both men and women who want a good suit. This will be a comprehensive review.I got to know about Misshow from their website, which showed a relatively uncommon house style in Singapore: 3 roll 2 buttoning, unstructured unpadded natural shoulders. I wanted suits comfortable for our warmer climate, and a softer feel instead of the more common strongly structured styles offered by traditional tailors here. I was initially just shopping around and made an appointment to just find out more, and ended up ordering 2 suits on the spot! (note: these would be my 9th and 10th suit/jacket).I made good use of the Standeven fabric mill's one for one promo for their older bunches. For about $2000 (before GST), you could choose two suits between four bunches. I topped up some money (can't remember, couple hundred?) to make both suits fully-canvassed. I think about 1.5k for each suit is very good value, considering the fabric, level of detail and worksmanship. For me, a good rapport is important between the client and the tailor. Jack and Ashley are great in this aspect, very observant and can understand client preferences and needs well. Don't hesitate to tell them what you like, but it's good to be open-minded and consider their advice, which is likely better outcome-wise.They are upfront that they do not do their own tailoring in-house but send it to a Japanese factory to get it done. To me it's ok, I'm not particular about outsourcing as long as the final product is good. It could be a dealbreaker for a customer who wants the whole CMT process done inhouse locally. The shopfront is small and there's no walk-ins allowed so Jack and Ashley will always be giving you their full undivided attention. It almost feels like a little club. My first meeting with them lasted almost 3 hours! Many other tailors have really crowded shops which detract from the overall experience. Jack also does home fittings for a 50$ fee if you're a busy person.Jack is formally trained in fashion, from la Salle College, and he's full of insights about style, aesthetic principles and the overall fashion industry's logistics. I've learnt much from him despite his relative youth.I ordered the suits and collected them. In-between, there was just one fitting. I take this as a good thing because I hate doing multiple fittings, which is very time-consuming.Overall, their suits look amazing unbuttoned, showing off the sexy lapel roll. I personally would always wear their suits unbuttoned. It drapes naturally and stylishly, giving of a suave, sprezzatura style instead of a more masculine, tidy look that some other tailors go for. Ultimately it's personal preference of course. You can look at their instagram for how their fit looks like. The level of detail is great. Very neat hand-stitched milanese buttonhole, double pick stitching, many little details that only you would notice and be glad for. For example, all suits from Misshow have this little red stitch as an accent on the barchetta pocket. There's also an embroidered logo on the inside of the fly flap so you will be reminded where your pants comes from everytime you pee. While there's a myriad of options for customisation, you can pretty much do an "omakase" and let Jack decide. He can explain the pros and cons of each option if you wish to learn. A complete newbie would be very at home here and leave having gotten a basic education in menswear. One major plus point is that even after collecting your suit, they are still down for a chat and will spend time chatting about possible follow-ups and new areas of fashion to explore in future.Overall, I would strongly recommend going to Misshow.Note: the shirt in my photographs is a uniqlo shirt. The phototaking was a nice touch of extra service.

Return customer. Approached Jack for a black, loro piana two-piece, and some fujinara cotton shirts. The suit was cut very cleanly with a beautiful drape with excellent attention to detail. The fujinara house style shirt (spalla camicia and Cooper collar) is the most well-fitted and comfortable shirt I have ever owned.

Love love LOVE the suit that Jack…

Love love LOVE the suit that Jack made for me!!!!! Highly recommend! I saw how good his workmanship is because my fiancé tailor made many suits/ shirts/ pants for him and it is always so perfect even right down to the small details. My eagle eye is all in the details and can spot them right away whenever i see anything ahha but he really impressed me with the high quality workmanship and i really cant find any fault in anything which is really really amazing. My fiancé and I honestly trust Jack's judgement and style too. I couldn't stop staring at myself in my new suit after i got home 😂😂 i spent 2hrs ++ just looking at it. Big big thank you to Jack, Ashley and Misshow for outstanding service!
