xThis a-line prom dress runs to floor length in sequin and tulle, and every choice in it is aimed at the evening rather than the hanger. It photographs well because each sequin catches the flash at a slightly different angle, which is why a sequined dress photographs as light rather than as a block of colour. That holds whether the photographs are taken under a marquee at dusk or under gym lighting indoors. On coverage, the facts are these: no sleeve, a sweetheart neckline and no slit in the skirt, on a floor length skirt. They are set out plainly so a student can hold them against her own school's rule sheet before ordering, rather than guessing from a photograph. Bust: Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your bust, ensuring it's parallel to the ground and comfortably snug. Note down the measurement.
Above Bust: Position the measuring tape above your bust, right under your armpits. Keep the tape parallel to the ground and snug against your skin. Make sure the tape is not pressing into your skin too tightly or hanging loosely.
Full Bust: Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your bust, ensuring it's parallel to the ground and comfortably snug. Note down the measurement.
Under Bust: Measure below the bust, where the bra band would sit. This measurement is crucial for dresses with empire waists or corseted bodices.
Waist: Measure around your natural waistline (the narrowest part of your torso). Keep the tape parallel to the ground and snug but not constricting. Record the measurement.

Lift the shirt collar. Put the first end of the cloth tape where the shoulder seam meets the neck. Measure down (vertically over the stomach) to the point you want the jacket to end. The standard measurement is usually around your fingers.
2. How to Measure Chest
Run the measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest, tight up under your armpits and over the shoulder blades, just in line with your nipples.
3. How to Measure Hips
Run the measuring tape around your hips. Make sure that the measuring tape is around the fullest part of the hip at the same level
4. How to Measure Waist
Put on your pants (belt less) and measure around the waist, at the height where you want your pants to stay
5. How to Measure Shoulder Width
Place the measuring tape where the shoulder seam meets one of the sleeves. Measure up over the curve of the shoulders, until the other shoulder seam meets the sleeve. The measuring tape should touch the lowest part of the shirt collar.
