This plus-size chiffon and lace gown answers the mother of the bride at a formal wedding who is shopping plus-size: the cut skims the waist and hip rather than gripping them across a full day. Picture it at a hall wedding running from the afternoon into the night: the chiffon is light enough for a spring or summer afternoon. It is sleeveless with a plain shoulder, so a jacket, bolero or wrap can go over it without fighting the neckline. The hem is floor-length — it brushes the floor — a length that photographs cleanly in a group shot and needs no holding up on steps. On this style you can have the V-neck raised or cut lower and the hem set to your own measurement. It is made to order in 30 colours.
