Bust: Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your bust, ensuring it's parallel to the ground and comfortably snug. Note down the measurement.
Above Bust: Position the measuring tape above your bust, right under your armpits. Keep the tape parallel to the ground and snug against your skin. Make sure the tape is not pressing into your skin too tightly or hanging loosely.
Full Bust: Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your bust, ensuring it's parallel to the ground and comfortably snug. Note down the measurement.
Under Bust: Measure below the bust, where the bra band would sit. This measurement is crucial for dresses with empire waists or corseted bodices.
Waist: Measure around your natural waistline (the narrowest part of your torso). Keep the tape parallel to the ground and snug but not constricting. Record the measurement.
Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks. Keep the tape straight and parallel to the ground. Take the measurement and record it.

Armhole (Arm Cage): To measure the armhole accurately, stand naturally with your arms at your sides. The armhole is the curved opening at the top of your shoulder where the sleeve attaches to the body of the garment. Using a soft measuring tape, start at the top edge of your shoulder and wrap the tape around the fullest part of your upper arm (just below the shoulder joint), following the curve of the armhole. Ensure the tape remains parallel to the ground and is comfortably snug without being too tight. Note the measurement where the tape meets the starting point and record it.
Bicep: Measure the circumference of your upper arm at its widest point.

Lift the shirt collar. Put the first end of the cloth tape where the shoulder seam meets the neck. Measure down (vertically over the stomach) to the point you want the jacket to end. The standard measurement is usually around your fingers.
2. How to Measure Chest
Run the measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest, tight up under your armpits and over the shoulder blades, just in line with your nipples.
3. How to Measure Hips
Run the measuring tape around your hips. Make sure that the measuring tape is around the fullest part of the hip at the same level
4. How to Measure Waist
Put on your pants (belt less) and measure around the waist, at the height where you want your pants to stay
5. How to Measure Shoulder Width
Place the measuring tape where the shoulder seam meets one of the sleeves. Measure up over the curve of the shoulders, until the other shoulder seam meets the sleeve. The measuring tape should touch the lowest part of the shirt collar.

Just want to start off by saying the quality is beautiful! Close to some of the dresses I was put in at the bridal store for way more money. I was very pleasantly surprised by this company and soo happy I found them. I am 5’6 I way 210 and measurements are bust: 42in , waist: 38in, hips: 50in. I measured myself using the guides and selected sizes 18-22 based on my hips. This dress was a size 20 and it was still on the big side for my hips. I was struggling to hold it tightly to really see how it fit on me. But even with that being said I was in absolute love with this dress. The buttons, the train, the flattering fabric in the , the slit, it’s all so beautiful. I love the removable sleeves so much. It was easy to walk in, dance in and overall be in. I will be ordering a smaller size to get a better idea, the back was my favorite part online and because it was too big I couldn’t appreciate it as much. But this might be my dress!

The dress was lovely but I realized the off the shoulder style wasn’t for me. The fabric was nice and I loved the draping across the hips. The straps and the upper corners of the bodice weren’t great and didn’t really hold shape in person.

I wanted put in an updated review now that I have my wedding photos back. This dress was a dream. I got married in Rome, Italy this summer. The dress fit like a glove once I sized down to a 0. I am just under 5' 1" and about 110 pounds. I didn't need to take it in at all just hemmed a little. It packed well and was light weight in the hot sun without being chintzy looking or feeling cheap. As a petite person I tried on so many dresses, but this was truly just the perfect dress. I cannot recommend this dress enough.

Got this dress for my November wedding. I'm a big girl (size 22) so I was a little worried about it fitting okay. All my worries went away when I tried it on... honestly, it was beautiful. I felt beautiful and I want to run back upstairs and put it back on all over again! The lace detailing is just gorgeous, and the feel of the whole dress is... there's no words. This was try on for me. The dress is beautiful and is made so well. It would look fantastic with a petticoat to flair out the skirt a bit. I will need to custom order it as I am short-waisted. Definitely in my top two.

Arrived quickly and with a little ironing all the wrinkles disappeared. Ordered a size 12 as I am about 5'9 and 180 pounds. That's the size dress I am in most other dresses. The top/bodice of the dress was difficult to get on without almost completely taking the tie out in the back. But once in, It was a little loose and had to be sinched up. Beautiful dress and so worth the money!!
